To date, Best Agro International has more than 45,000 employees spread throughout the Company's business areas. For Best Agro International, employees are company assets and have become part of the company's extended family which is expected to progress and prosper with Best Agro International. The first site Best Agro International Group was founded was PT. SUBUR SUSTARI PALM WOODS.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As one of the largest palm oil plantation companies in Indonesia, the business run by Best Agro International starts from plantations to palm oil processing in factories using standard processing standards.<\/p>\n<p>In addressing the issue of environmental sustainability which is in the spotlight in the palm oil industry in the eyes of the international world, Best Agro International implements company policies and best practices that support the principles of environmental sustainability to achieve sustainable palm oil management. The company supports environmental sustainability by carrying out movements to utilize sandy land for reforestation. Through this movement, now the sandy land has become fertile land again.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: Jost, sans-serif; font-size: 37px; font-weight: bold; letter-spacing: -1px; background-color: transparent;\">Plantation<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5>Land Clearing<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The process of land clearing is done mechanically and does not use fire at all. This is a fundamental corporate policy and a major focus on the environment. The haze problem in 2015 caused health and economic damage to our plantation environment. To prevent this from happening again, we are constantly educating our employees and local residents to do so <strong>Zero burning policy<\/strong>&nbsp;dan mengingatkan untuk waspada terhadap wabah api. Semua aktifitas pembakaran ilegal segera dilaporkan ke pihak berwajib.<\/p>\n<p>Our company has prepared a team for emergencies (more than 3,000 volunteer firefighters) who are trained in extinguishing fires. We have built watchtowers to detect smoke. We built several high capacity pumps to draw water from nearby rivers according to the placement of fire engines and water storage tanks on the plantation. We have an efficient road system to ensure our fire engines and equipment can be accessed to the fire area quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Fire spreads easily and quickly so we have to make sure they do too&nbsp;<strong>Zero burning policy<\/strong>.&nbsp; Kita bekerja sama dengan mereka untuk melaporkan segala aktifitas pembakaran ilegal dan melakukan koordinasi latihan pemadaman kebakaran.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5>Planting Technique<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By using palm seeds from the best varieties, Best Agro International is able to produce fresh fruit bunches of the best quality. Through consistent and professional implementation of Plantation Management and Agronomic Techniques, Best Agro International can produce Fresh Fruit Bunches earlier than usual.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve these results, Best Agro International carries out intensive care and maintenance of oil palm plants, starting from the 'Immature Plants' category, to 'Product Plants'. Activities carried out include: weed control, fertilization, maintenance of ground cover plants, extra attention to plants and so on<\/p>\n<p>When oil palm is included in the yield crop category, determining good 'Harvest Management' is the key to obtaining and producing good quantity and quality of CPO. Also supported by reliable and skilled harvest workers as well as adequate and well-maintained transportation and infrastructure facilities, are the main requirements for achieving production targets<\/p>\n<h4>Factory<\/h4>\n<p>Best Agro International has several palm oil processing factory units and also palm kernel processing factories that are able to produce productivity according to their capacity and minimize waste to Zero Waste. With appropriate palm oil waste management technology, Best Agro International is able to utilize palm oil waste to be used as an organic fertilizer substitute.<\/p>\n<p>Good waste processing is also a form of Best Agro International's concern for the realization of sustainable palm oil. Fertilization mechanization is proven to save time and operational costs for the company.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5>Increasing the Effectiveness of Fruit Transportation<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Palm fruit that has been harvested is allowed to fall and collected in the Palm Alleys. Then the palm fruit is picked up by a DUMP tractor, then spilled into a tub on the side of the road for the fruit pickers and brought to the Mechanization Factory.
